This semester has already been busy. From putting together Presentations, teaching my team the basics of Unreal Engine and Stylized Texturing in Substance painter, and organizing calendars, and asset sheets, I've been very busy working through organizing our team to work effectively this semester. In more detail, I created a re-vamped asset list so that our modeling artists understood what work needed to be done on assets. I researched Rigging software, specifically Mesh to Meta Humans, and was able to guide our rigging artist to a tool that would work better for our film.
On things I did outside of Production Manager duties. . . I jumped into Niagara, Unreal Engine 5's FX suite. I sat down with our effects artist and begun learning about particle effects in Unreal. We created our first Emitter and Particle System, and are planning to continue learning Niagara so that we can make our custom effects for DiM. I additionally Blocked in two more sequences in our Unreal Camera Sequencer, and have prepared new renders for our Iterative Review.
